Position Overview
We are hiring a Project Manager to join our leadership team. This role is both client-facing and operations-driven: you will develop relationships with electrical contractors, secure new projects, manage contracts, and oversee the placement and scheduling of electricians. You’ll also assist in hiring and timekeeping for our field staff.
This is an office-based position with travel for client meetings, lunches, and site visits. Ideal candidates have a solid background in electrical work and leadership, paired with strong sales and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development – Identify and connect with electrical contractors who need manpower; build and maintain client relationships through calls, site visits, meetings, and events.
- Client Management – Facilitate contracts, ensure client satisfaction, and act as the primary point of contact.
- Workforce Placement – Coordinate placement of electricians on projects, ensuring proper fit and timely project support.
- Hiring – Recruit, interview, and hire electricians.
- Timekeeping & Oversight – Manage weekly timesheets and resolve scheduling or jobsite issues.
- Team Leadership – Provide direction and support to electricians; ensure company standards and professionalism are upheld.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the electrical industry REQUIRED (commercial/industrial preferred).
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong sales, networking, and client relationship skills.
- Professional communication (written and verbal) with ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Office/administrative skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to balance multiple priorities.
